This one goes out to modern love: Briannan and Robby are a stunning example of a tinder success story. The two talked over the phone for about a week before finally meeting at a taco joint for the first time. They go to that same taco place every year on their anniversary.
They were both born and raised in LA but grew up visiting Central California, so choosing a venue in the area just felt right. They married at Terra Mia Vineyard in Paso Robles — a beautiful spot with no shortage of wine, willow trees, and the laid-back environment they were looking for. They kept the wedding simple and infused their own quirks and personalities into the things that really matter, like a taco truck instead of a plated dinner. They opted for Robby’s favourite desserts: cookies and donuts, but with a twist. As an ode to the constant misspelling of each of their names, the two chose to have “Robbie and Bree” etched in icing onto the treats (for the record — it’s Robby and Bri!)
Briannan says the ceremony was her favourite part of the day, despite her prior anxieties and fear of being the centre of attention. Her cousin Jaymes officiated the wedding, and his infusion of humour and personal anecdotes helped calm her nerves. She says, “looking at my husband and holding his hands calmed any nerves that I thought I would feel. I've never felt so full of excitement, happiness, and most of all, love. Everyone I loved was there to see me marry my best friend in the entire world. It was priceless”.
Briannan wore the Abronia dress, which he customized with lace side panels and paired with half-up tousled waves and a classic veil.
